Meet our Team

CEO Yoonsik Oh has sixteen years of work experience as a developer including being the author of a well-known compression algorithm. In 2012, he co-founded Estmob with the aim of simplifying something that we do everyday – sharing files. Since its inception, Estmob’s Send Anywhere has amassed over nine million cumulative downloads globally and has received seven million dollars in venture funding from Rakuten Ventures. Before founding Estmob, Mr. Oh worked at ESTsoft and ZUM Internet as a Software Developer. Mr. Oh holds a BS in Telecommunication Engineering from Korea Aerospace University and a MS in Security from Korea University.

COO Suhyuk Kang has over a decade of experience in strategy and entrepreneurship. At Estmob, he has driven the company’s strategy and direction since its inception. Prior to this, he co-founded the Korean house sharing platform KOZAZA and also worked for nine years at LG Display as a Researcher and Marketing Strategy Manager. Mr. Kang holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.

CTO Jehoon Shin developed the famous compression program ALZip and image viewer ALSee. At Estmob, he oversees the Software Development team. Prior to joining Estmob, Mr. Shin was the CTO of ESTsoft, and the Head of Software Business at ALTools, overseeing both PC and mobile business. Mr. Shin holds a BS from Inha University in Korea.

CMO Seung-Hyun Son (Jung) brings with him a breadth of expertise in business stemming from his time at Google. At Estmob, he oversees all business development and marketing initiatives, setting forth the company’s long-term business and marketing strategy. Before this, Mr. Son worked at a variety of highly successful companies including Google Singapore/Korea where he was in charge of the AdMob Korea team as well as being the Head of Sales at Tapjoy Korea–highly regarded as the best incentive-based mobile advertising platform in the world. Mr. Son hold an undergraduate degree in English from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Yonsei University.
